Rough Magic in association with FutureHome Productions presents Dinner & Dragons – a hybrid participatory theatre-culinary experience featuring rising Chicago chefs Alexis Thomas-Rice and Eve Studnicka, collectively known as “Funeral Potatoes.” Audience members enter a world of mages and monsters, taking on characters within the universe and partaking in games and group table quests in the spirit of a tabletop roleplaying game not unlike D&D. As the audience works together to defeat a looming threat, they are treated to a 5-course curated food journey built into the narrative of the event itself. An immersive fantasy experience with multiple possible endings, produced in an underground speakeasy.
