“The Teahouse at the End of the World adventure” invites players to explore a strange, fantastical world in the new tabletop roleplaying game, Tales From Myriad.

Explore the bizarre and beautiful

The first Sages of the Goddess built a teahouse centuries ago as a haven for all creatures in Myriad. The teahouse survived Myriad’s multiple crises and monstrosities. Stored within its walls were great artifacts of power to protect Myriad. Now, the teahouse is lost, and chaos takes hold of Myriad once more. Now the denizens of Myriad know the stories, but do not believe it truly existed. Until recently it was a myth, but now a scholar has claimed to have indisputable proof of the teahouse’s location. Before presenting this assertation, he went missing taking Myriad’s dreams of salvation with him. But hope perseveres. Someone will find the scholar and help Myriad thrive.

A new fantasy roleplaying game

Tales from Myriad is an exciting and accessible fantasy tabletop roleplaying game that emphasizes exploration and emergent storytelling. It is one of Nick’s new favorite tabletop roleplaying games. It’s world and adventure is an exciting blend of old school roleplaying danger with contemporary mechanics and incredible art. Tales From Myriad is a far cry from the classic Tolkien fantasy.

But, most importantly this game is about fashion. As a result, players will don the guise of characters searching for new magic that usually takes the form of hats, clothing and other bobbles. Character creation is fast, unpredictable, and creates descriptive, unique characters. Though combat is not the main focus there is a robust, customizable combat system that rewards creativity and innovation. The magic system is wonderfully bizarre and perfect for the player who loves to think outside of the box to solve problems.

They’re just a bunch of little guys

The world of Myriad is combination of lighthearted, silly fantasy along with melancholic, dark settings. Think the Dark Souls video games mixed with classic Legend of Zelda. Though you might be fighting monsters one minute, you’ll also be relaxing in taverns, crafting items and shopping in towns for just the right accessories.

So, welcome to Myriad, bring your best magical hat and your wits to take on the world!
